Riffe Gallery.  “Poetics of Pattern.”  Opening Reception 5-7pm.  Featuring the work of NOC’s own Judith Salomom.  Curated by Janice Lessman-Moss, a professor at Kent State University, the 13 artists in Poetics of Pattern explore the process of design-making through a variety of scales, media, forms and colors. Through their repetitive processes, we find a language of beauty and meaning that seeks to create order and connection in our increasingly complex lives.  Join the Riffe Gallery for the free opening reception of Poetics of Pattern on Thursday, July 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Donated food will be available, and wine will be available for purchase.  On Friday, July 26 curator Janice Lessman-Moss will lead a free tour of the exhibition from noon to 1 p.m.
