Diego Velazquez: Remixed A hip posse of Cleveland artists recreate and revamp the works of Spanish Baroque painter Diego Velazquez in Wall Eye Gallery's newest exhibition opening on Fri 2/19 from 6-11PM. Among the highlights are Arabella Proffer's naughty interpretation of "Lady with a Fan" [her work pictured at left], plus remixes by The Sign Guy, Anthony Jacobs, David Szekeres and others. @ 5304 Detroit Ave. http://WallEyeGallery.com

Third Fridays @ 78th St Studios One of Cle's hottest creative hubs is now open and available for you to explore every month. The 78th St Studios, located in Detroit-Shoreway, invites you to roam the halls, have a drink and check out the newest exhibits. Go on Fri 2/19 for artist talks, live music and a Haiti Art Benefit silent auction. Be there from 5-9PM.


Sunday February 21st Opening

Sandusky Cultural Center Faculty Show Opening Reception Sunday Feb 21st from 1-4pm. 2130 Hayes Ave. Sandusky, OH 77870 419.625.1188. This faculty show was arranged to showcase the talents of some of Erie County’s art educators. Show features the work of the great Josh Haplea as well as Donna Andaraus, Sally Roth, John Eschels, Richard Browne, Keith Capizzi, Andrew Shannon, Michael Beuglass, Karen Shaylor, Michele Ziemke, Rosalyn Sheperd and Cheryl Sullivan.
