Cain Park Arts Fest is revered by all. Locals flock to it, and Sunshine Magazine even ranked it as one of the top 25 festivals in the country. This 3-day fest features 150 exhibitors showcasing every medium of art found under the sun. Also: awesome live music, food, and tons of entertainment for kids, like Alma Family Concerts, Kindermusik workshops and silly skits.

Roam the galleries of Tremont at the next Tremont Artwalk on Fri 7/9. It’s the peak of summer and the city is blooming w/ art and entertainment.

Reception on Sat 7/10 @ 5 – 7PM
Head to a cabin in the woods (specifically, the Log Cabin Gallery) and view artwork celebrating the healing power of art and nature in Breathe II Summer Exhibit. Meet the artists on Sat 7/10 and listen to artist/performer Billy “Crowbeak” Faluski perform on Native American style woodland flute. Show runs ’til Sun 8/1.

Cirque Imaginaire, the traveling art gallery and bazaar, is back for its second event of the year. This time the creative convergence takes place @ the Shore (Shore Cultural Center, that is). Expect an onslaught of creativity and imaginative endeavors — we’re talking 40+ local artists, musical performances by How to Breathe Underwater, Mariage Blanc and Burning Down Broadway, plus booze and other random entertainment.
