Big Ass Papermaking Workshop! Fri 8/19 – Sun 8/21 Join a 3-day “hands-on, feet-in” Big Ass Papermaking Workshop from Fri 8/19 – Sun 8/21/11 @ the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory. Check it out: “When we say big, we mean BIG! It is going to take 4 people working together to pull each large sheet of paper with two people in the vat to disperse the pulp. You will leave the workshop with at least 6 8′X10′ sheets of the kozo paper.” http://MorganConservatory.org

“Legation <3 SPACES.” Opening Reception at 5PM. Legation, a gallery, is hosting a group exhibition featuring artwork by SPACES board members and staff as well as featured work from board members’ private collections. The show opens Fri 8/19/11 from 5 – 10PM. A portion of all proceeds from sales goes to SPACES. “The Art of Artisans.” Exhibit “showcasing regional artisans and craftsman who create fine art with the tools, materials or processes of their craft. MOCA’s End of Summer Lawn Party Reception 5 – 8PM It’s MOCA’s last summer exhibit at their current location.
