Bay Arts, 28795 Lake Road, Bay Village.  “Relics of Memory.”  Opening 6-9pm.  

Cleveland Print Room, 2550 Superior Ave, Suite 102, CLE 216.401.5981  “Peer Show.”  Opening 5-9PM.  Once again, the Cleveland Print Room offers local photography buffs the opportunity to see what area artists are doing with its third juried Peer Show.Both CPR members and non-members were eligible to enter the show, judged by Massillion Museum executive director Alexandra Coon and Tom Huck, art curator at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.  ore than 30 works were chosen for the show and awards will be presented at the opening @ 6pm, including Best of Show, Best Black-and-White, Best Color, Best Alternative Process and Director’s Award.

Tech Position Opening:

EDINBORO UNIVERSITY OF PA has an opening for a Volunteer/Technical Assistant in Ceramics. The position is well-suited for someone who recently earned a bachelor’s degree in ceramics and is seeking another year or two to build their portfolio in a comprehensively equipped, diverse ceramics program.

RESPONSIBILITIES: primarily includes mixing slips and glazes for the beginning ceramics classes and overseeing electric and gas kiln firings. 

COMPENSATION: Non-salaried, however; studio space, materials, and firing privileges are provided in exchange for only10 hours of work per week. We have 23 kilns (electric, gas, soda and two wood kilns)

START DATE:  anytime this summer, but no later than mid-August 2017
