Whoever thought to repurpose the Boston Mills-Brandywine ski lodge and slopescape in the Cuyahoga Valley, turning them into a venue for a fancy-schmantzy art show and sale, really deserves the Cleveland Arts Prize. The Boston Mills Artfest is 45 years old this year, and brings to the resort artists and crafters selling in practically every conceivable media: woodworking, glassblowing, photography, painting, sculpture, jewelry, pottery/ceramics, fabric and fashion accessories — you name it.
