Published in January, on the one-year anniversary of the Trump inaugural and the Women’s March, it’s a response to that with the contributors sharing their ideas of a “fair, free and compassionate democracy,” at odds with what Trump is projecting.  Editor Jonathan Santlofer will be at MOCA Cleveland to moderate a conversation with author Angela Flournoy and Cleveland-born artist Susan Crile, in an event presented in collaboration with the ACLU.  There’s a reception at 6:30pm, followed by the talk at 7pm and a book signing following the talk.
