Zygote Press, 1410 East 30th St., CLE 216.621.2900  www.zygotepress.com   “Let’s Make, With Love.”  Open 6:30-9:30PM  Come on out and party with the folks at Zygote Press when they host their “Let’s Make, With Love” benefit at their gallery and printmaking studio. Tickets are $20 per person for members, $28 for non-members, or $34 a couple for member, $50 for non-members. But this isn’t just for couples — bring your friends or come down and make new ones, while you explore what Zygote Press has to offer.  (Image Above)


The Cleveland History Center, 10825  East Blvd., CLE “History On Tap.”  Opening 5-8pm. For Black History month this year, expect rare relics and souvenirs from the Stokes Administration era here, patron-participation painting with guest artist Sam Aiyan, games and other edu-tainment.  Admission is $7 in advance, $10 at the door, or $5 for WRHS members or students with valid ID. Despite the drink tickets, it is an all-ages event. Know that the painting session carries a $25 materials fee, and advance registration for that is requested.

Bonfoey Gallery, 1710 Euclid Ave., CLE 216.621.0178, www.bonfoey.com  “Art Heals.”  Opening 5-8pm. Art touches people in many different ways, whether they are looking at art or making it. Guy Vincent Ricketti is an established northeast Ohio artist. But he is also the art instructor of the HeART of the City program at Catholic Charities’ William M. Cosgrove Center, a day drop-in center for the homeless and others in need, where he helps others express themselves through art.

The date to make the bowls is set for February 11, 201710:00 am - 2:30 pm.This is on a Saturday. 100+ bowls were made last year, and hopefully we'll have more this year. The Maria Neil Art Project will be holding the closing party for the current exhibit of work by the late Anthony Bartholomew who was an active part of the local printmaking scene; proceeds from the sale of his works go to a post-graduate residency at Zygote Press.
At Praxis Fiber Workshop, you’ll have another chance to see PRISM, featuring the work of Petra Soesemann, Dan Tranberg, and Judy Wolfe.
