FRIDAY FEB. 12
Noon-1pm - Arts Professions Lecture Whitehall Classroom #118
2-5pm – Artist Workshop- Throwing and Altering
SATURDAY- FEB 13
1-3pm. Informal Workshop. Stop by and watch Tom build a large stacked vessel.
MONDAY FEB. 15
1-3:30 - Demos on tea bowls, water buckets and vase forms.
5-7:30 - Lecture on Modern American Ceramics and Demonstration
NOTE: The workshop events will take place in the U.K. Ceramics Studio. The Ceramics Studio is located on the 2nd floor of Reynolds Building #1, 672 S. Broadway, Lexington, KY 40506-0101.
Please find a map attached with directions for the Reynolds Building No. 1 (in yellow), where the ceramics studio is located on the 2nd floor almost to the very back, and the parking garage (in pink) located fairly near the Reynolds Building.
*Note: The Reynolds Building is not directly on South Broadway, although it is visible. To drive there, you must turn off South Broadway and go through the gate to reach Scott Street.
PARKING – Workshop attendees may not park in permit lots, but may park in one of the following options.
1. Comer’s Parking Lot $4 per day- Located on Scott Street. Directions: Heading north on Nicholasville/Limestone Street turn left onto Scott Street or if you are heading south on Upper Street take a right on Scott Street and the lot is down the road on the LEFT.
2. UK Parking Garage- located between South Upper Street and North Limestone/Nicholasville - $10 per day or hourly rates.
3. Metered Parking
