Undomesticated @ Wall Eye Gallery Knitting, sewing, crocheting and other forms of crafting were once considered "women's work"--something all women needed to learn. Even though crafting isn't a necessity today (and is certainly not considered "women's work"), many ladies still find solace at the click of needles or seated at a sewing machine. In Undomesticated, several local women artists "honor this heritage through modern interpretations of necessity-driven set of skills as a means of artistic expression." The exhibit opens w/ an artist reception on Fri 3/19 from 6-11PM @ Wall Eye Gallery, 5304 Detroit Ave

Space Invaders 2010 SPACES Gallery asks, Have you ever visited a museum or gallery and found some of the work hard to grasp? Has a painting or piece of installation art ever approached you on the beach and kicked sand in your face, just to run off with your girlfriend? Space Invaders is an open critique of what you see. Hash out what's good--or what's confusing--about a piece of art. Invasions happen in museums all over Cle. SPACES is the site of the first invasion, happenin' on Sat 3/20 from 2-4PM.
