Voices Worth Hearing, Art Worth Sharing, an innovative multimedia exhibit that will premiere in the Gordon Square Arts District in June. Award-winning photographers Steve Cagan, Donald Black Jr., and Gabriel Gonzalez were each embedded in the daily lives and experiences of three local refugee families, capturing their joys, challenges and transplanted cultures on film. The result will be revealed in a black-and-white photography exhibit on display at Wall Eye Gallery, 5304 Detroit Ave., June 18-20 (continuing June 25-27). The premiere weekend also includes a companion video documentary by Emmy-winning video producers Bob Becker and Luanne Bole-Becker, along with multicultural food and displays. All events take place within a city block at the eastern end of the Gordon Square Arts District. Wall Eye Gallery – 5304 Detroit Ave.

The Shaker Heights Arts and Music Festival. The Craft Fair at Hathaway Brown and the Summer Solstice Festival have merged into one event — this one! Go on Sat 6/19 from 10AM – 10PM for music, a craft fair, kid’s activities, street entertainers, libations and food. Then go back on Sun 6/20 from 11AM – 3:30PM for more music and more craft fair. @ Van Aken and Farnsleigh Rds.
