Drawn & Quartered Part III Draw Off! Opening reception of participating artists on Fri 5/6 . @ 6PM Competition begins at 7PM on Sat 5/7.Figure drawing as spectator sport? Oh, yes! Drawn and Quartered, now in its third year, pits established figure drawing groups against each other in a fight to create the best drawings. They’ll rush to capture the magic of an honest drawing as they sketch models from MorrisonDance. Professional artists and the audience will vote on best individual and team drawings. Finished artwork will be available for purchase after event. Who’s competing? The Murray Hill Drawing Group, Dr. Sketchy Cleveland, Pretentious Tremont Artists of the Literary Care, and N.O.I.S. Two exhibits to intrigue you: “Degrees of Separation” — Can you believe the Pop Shop Gallery, that outpost for innovative art in Lakewood, is turning 6? For real. And, of course, there’s a show to celebrate. Twenty+ artists, many that started from the beginning, will be on hand with their works to showcase this event.
