On Saturday March 23rd from 12pm - 5pm. Allen Kradlak of AKStudios is hosting an empty bowls throw-a-thon to benefit the local food pantries. This will be a fun session of creating thrown and altered stoneware bowls which will be glazed and fired by volunteers at AKstudios. The studio has 8 Wheels and plenty of room to facilitate all of the activities. All Materials are to be provided along with snacks and beverages. Anyone who is interested in participating should contact Allen to sign up. Once the bowls are finished they will be donated to the empty bowls event, hosted by the Berea Kiwanis at Berea High school. Of course, if you are unable to attend, donations of finished bowls would also be welcome and can be dropped off at the studio. The proceeds from this event help fund programs and provide resources to Church Street Ministries, Berea Welfare and SCAN. Anyone willing to help is welcome to attend.
