Waterloo Arts, 15605 Waterloo Rd., Cleveland, 216.692.9500 artscollinwood.org  “Vacancy/No Vacancy.”  Opening 6pm. Emptiness, abandonment, decay, reuse, and renewal? Yeah, we’ve got that. Now explore what those concepts mean in a juried show — Vacancy/No Vacancy — @ Waterloo Arts. 101 artists from 22 states and Canada will explore vacancy (or no vacancy) through a variety of media.
Gallery One Sixty, 16008 Waterloo Road, Cleveland  “Pen Pals.”  Opening 6pm. PEN PALS is an exhibition of collaborative drawings by Cleveland's Rachel Strongoli & Josh Usmani and Sweden's Daniel Andersson-Boe (Semio). Half of the works were started in each country and mailed back-and-forth across the Atlantic Ocean.  This show will feature works by all three artists, different pairings and individual work. The artists' styles blend over each other - creating an ambiguous sense of continuity, blending the three into one. This event is FREE and open to the public.
