Artists Archives of the Western Reserve, 1834 E. 123rd St. Cleveland, 216.721.9020 “Pearls of Cleveland.”  Opening Reception 5:30-8pm.  The Artists Archives of the Western Reserve presents the Pearls of Cleveland, memorial show for Archived Artist, Moses Pearl and featuring works from his two artist children, Stuart Pearl and Sharlene Pearl Green.
Sculpture Center, 1834 East 123rd St., Cleveland, 216.229.6527  “Julius Lyles: Black Numinous Delights And R. Eric McMaster: A State of Resistance .”  Opening 5:30-8pm.  6:15 PM The Artist Talks with Julius Lyles in the Euclid Avenue Gallery.  7:00 PM The Artist Talks with Eric McMaster in the Main Gallery
Heights Art Gallery, 2175 Lee Road  Cleveland Hts., 216.371.3457  “Light Show.”  Opening 6-9pm. Organized by founding Heights Arts board member (and NOC Member!) Sharon Grossman, Light Show presents nine contemporary Northeast Ohio artists who work with materials, processes, and visual languages that speak to the theme of light. Works include neon sculpture, photography, glass, furniture and jewelry, as well as the more functional translation: lamps.
