Zygote Press, 1410 East 30th St., Cleveland 216.621.2900  www.zygotepress.com “In-Turn.”  Opening 6-8pm.  The show features Zygote interns Erin Adiar, Allison Polgar, Kelsey Moulton, Anna Tararova, Grace Wen (who also runs the Satellite Gallery off Waterloo), Yana Miko-Misho (who also interned at Micro Art Space), Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory intern Tony Carlone, Praxis Fiber Workshop intern Annmarie Suglio, and Samantha Konet who interned at both Zygote and Praxis.


Harris-Stanton Gallery 2301 West Market Street, Akron, 330.867.7600, www.harrisstantongallery.com  “Embedded Light.”  Opening 5:30-8pm.  Artists Abbey Blake and Linda Fischer both work in the medium, with Blake’s work influenced by her background in printmaking and biomedical art, leading to abstract designs, and Fischer using it to render such subjects cityscapes, mountain sides and aerial landscapes as seen from an airplane. Their work will comprise the next show at Harris Stanton Gallery’s Akron location, appropriately called Embedded Light.  (Image Above)
