***Workshop  Holly Holladay. On April 6th Brick will be hosting a two-part artist workshop taught by Holly Holladay. The first part of the class is from 10:00-12:00 pm and the second section of the class will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm.  Holly will be teaching students how to make their own handmade stamps. Bonfoey Gallery, 1710 Euclid Ave., CLE 216.621.0178, www.bonfoey.com  “Engaging Women Fundraiser.”  Open 5pm. It’s all about women at the Bonfoey Gallery’s Art and Style Benefit event. The walls will be filled with women’s art, part of the gallery’s current show Engaging Women, featuring some of the women on their roster. The gallery is hoping to raise $5,000 to benefit the Norma Herr Women’s Center.  Contact for Tickets.

Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Blvd, CLE 216.421.7350, www.clevelandart.org  “Shinto:  Discovery of the Divine in Japanese Art.”  Opening performances.  11am and 3 pm.  To celebrate the opening, the museum is presenting a Shinto dance performance, of the ancient art of Tsukushi Mai, performed by Miyajidake Jinja Shrine. The dance represents a prayer to the Shinto kami of the natural world, the human relationship to land and the lifecycles of Earth.
