Firstly, Thank you to Stephanie Miller-Davis for hosting a great event Tuesday evening!

Canton Museum of Art, 1001 Market Ave., N  Canton, Oh 330.453.7666.  “Three Voices:  Conversations on Life and Conflict.  New Work by Judith Brandon (Image Above), Carol Snyder and Leslie Shiels.”  Opening 6-8pm. 

Cleveland Institute of Art, 11610 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, 800.223.4700,  “Faculty Show.” Opening 6:30-8:30PM.  With the Cleveland Institute of Art one of the top art schools in the country, its annual faculty exhibition lets people see one of the reasons why it is. It features work by teachers from the school’s various departments, as they get to demonstrate their expertise in practice and not just in theory.  Featuring work by NOC’s own Seth Nagelberg.

Heights Art Gallery, 2175 Lee Road  Cleveland Hts., 216.371.3457  “Herbert Ascherman Jr.  – 40 Years.”  Opening 6-9pm. For more than four decades, Herbert Ascherman Jr. has been a fixture in the photographic landscape of Cleveland. While best known for his portrait studio, Ascherman has also pursued other threads throughout his career: landscapes, nudes, and street photography—as well as portraiture. 

Harris-Stanton Gallery 1370 W. 9th Street, Cleveland  “Concepts, Toys and Collage: New Works by Mindy Tousley and Lisa Kenion.”   Opening 6-8:30. Both artists are long time Cleveland area artists and have been artistic peers and friends for years. The exhibition will feature new collage works and rarely seen “toys” by Mindy Tousley as well as new works by Lisa Kenion in bronze as well as a brand new body of two dimensional works.

Waterloo Arts, 15605 Waterloo Rd., Cleveland, 216.692.9500  “Walk all over Waterloo.”  6-9pm.  

Six Shooter Coffee in Brick. Brick Ceramic + Design, 420 East 161st. Street Cleve.  “Oasis- New Work by Michelle Janosky.”  Opening 6-10pm. The show will feature Michelle's signature fountains that are both functional and sculptural.

Maria Neil Art Project, 15813 Waterloo Rd. Cleveland,, 216.481.7722  “Eric Rippert.”  Opening 6-9pm.  
Satellite Gallery 422 East 156th Street, Cleveland.  “Espectral Remnants.”  Opening 6-9pm.

Article Gallery 15316 Waterloo Rd., Cleve  “ALT POP.”   Opening 6-10PM.  Rachel Latina’s figurative painter/illustrator’s works are vivid, colorful and approachable but there’s a lot more going on there than what you see on the surface. She says she’s exploring femininity in the contest of culture, and she does so with a light enough hand that viewers can just enjoy the image as image or bring their own references to bear to decipher other messages in what she paints.  

Tri-C Gallery East, 4250 Richmond Rd., Highland Hills, OH  “The New Now.”  Opening 6-8:30pm. Since 2014, the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve has sponsored its annual juried exhibition NEWNOW, which shines the spotlight on artists from northeast Ohio. This year, 55 artists were chosen to show 73 pieces of work, chosen from more than 450 submitted. Michael J. Beam, curator of exhibitions & collections at the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University, served as juror
